How to Apply for the º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø Scholarship

Steps to Apply

Follow these steps to complete the º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø General Scholarship Application and maximize your chances of receiving financial support:

1. Complete the Admissions Process

  • First-year students attending º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø, your scholarship application is built in to your º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø admission application. Be sure to fill out all of the questions and complete the admissions process to be considered automatically.
  • Current º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø students can re-apply for the scholarship each year in Myº£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø.

2. Understand GPA Requirements

  • Scholarships are available to students regardless of GPA, though a GPA of 2.5 or higher improves eligibility for many awards.

3. Meet Enrollment Requirements

  • You must be enrolled in at least 1 credit to qualify for scholarships.

4. Submit Your FAFSA

  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1st to be considered for federal aid, required for some scholarships.

5. Submit the º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø Scholarship Application

  • Apply through Myº£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø by March 1st for priority consideration:
    • Go to Myº£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø → Select Myº£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø Self-Service → Click the Financial Aid Overview tile → Select Scholarships → Complete the º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø Scholarship Application.
6. Provide Your GPA
  • Self-report your GPA on the admission application or submit your high school transcript to ensure your eligibility for scholarships is evaluated.

Priority Dates

The priority date for the º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø scholarship application is March 1st. Applications submitted after this date will be considered for second-round awards, subject to available funding. The final deadline is September 1st.

Submitting Transcripts:

Some scholarships require high school transcripts. If your scholarship needs one, it will be indicated in your Myº£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø portal when you accept the award.

  • Incoming Freshmen: Submit a seven-semester in-progress transcript and an official final graduation transcript.
  • Transfer Students: Submit an official final transcript.
  • Current º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø Students: No need to submit a º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø transcript.

Thank-You Notes

Some scholarships may require a thank-you note, but sending one to your scholarship donors is a customary and appreciated gesture. Contact information for donors will be provided in your award letter and within your Document Center in your Myº£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø Self-Service if you receive a scholarship.
