º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø and LC State College sign partnership agreement

TWIN FALLS – º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø students who want to continue their education willnow have a smoother transition to Lewis Clark State College thanks to a memorandum ofunderstanding between the two institutions.

Through the co-admission and co-enrollment agreement, students will be able to work toward adegree at Lewis-Clark State College and track their progress while attending º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø. Thecollaborative move by the two institutions reduces barriers to students transferring between theinstitutions.

“We are excited to be working with º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø on co-admission/co-enrollment,” LC State PresidentPemberton said. “This partnership education model will increase student awareness, interest andaccess, making next level degree pursuit virtually seamless.”

LC State has had a presence on the º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø campus for years, and the institutions have alwaysworked to ensure that students were able to transfer easily. In Fall 2020, eight º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø studentstransferred to Lewis-Clark State and four more attended that were past º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø students. The newagreement is designed to streamline the process even further, and to offer expanded opportunitiesfrom both institutions.

The agreement also helps ensure that comprehensive support systems are in place for studentswishing to transfer to Lewis-Clark State College to receive their bachelor degree.
