º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø and ISU sign partnership agreement

TWIN FALLS – º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø students who want to continue their education willnow have a smoother transition to Idaho State University thanks to a Memorandum ofUnderstanding between the two institutions.
Through the agreement, students will be able to work toward a degree at Idaho State and tracktheir progress while attending º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø. The collaborative move by the two institutions reducesbarriers to students transferring between the institutions.
“We are partners in education,” said Idaho State President Kevin Satterlee. “This partnershipexponentially increases opportunities for students at º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø and opens doors to their future. Ouragreement will meet immediate needs for a skilled and trained workforce in the Magic Valleyand beyond.”
Idaho State University has had a presence on the º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø campus for 28 years, and the institutionshave always worked to ensure that students were able to transfer easily. For example, in Fall2020, 88 º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø students transferred to Idaho State. The new agreement is designed to streamlinethe process even further, and to offer expanded opportunities from both institutions.
The agreement also helps ensure that comprehensive support systems are in place for studentswishing to transfer to Idaho State to receive their bachelor degree.
