Kevin Clinton
Kevin Clinton brings more than 30 years of experience in the heavy truck and diesel industry into the lab at º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø. After completing a Diesel Technology program in Elko, Nevada, he built his career working in parts, service, dispatch, and warranty roles before joining º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø in 2023.
Now a full-time lab assistant, Kevin works closely with students as they build hands-on skills in the Diesel and Truck Mechanics program. One of the projects students are currently working on is a full engine teardown, taking a diesel engine down to the block and rebuilding it piece by piece.
º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Diesel Technology program gives students experience in everything from engines and electrical systems to hydraulics, brakes, and drivetrains, along with real-world training through industry partnerships.
Kevin enjoys the energy each new group of students brings and values building one-on-one connections with them. He’s there to support students in the lab and beyond, sharing real industry knowledge to help them succeed.
Outside of º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø, you’ll find Kevin racing motocross with his son or horseback riding and training with his daughters. Most students are surprised to learn he still actively races.
His advice to students: have an open mind and pay attention to detail.
